Orphan Sun (SDO) is an non-profit association. Its main objective is to help and assist Africans orphans who are  in the need.

Orphan sun organizes different activities to collect money that goes for the orphans sponsorship program. SDO counts on several partners here in Canada to coordinate and organize multiple events  or abroad with associations having direct contact with the reality and the orphans.

You can help us either by :

• Becoming a member

• Taking part and encouraging the association activities.

As you may all know, Zakat al-Fitr is compulsory on every muslim that can afford it. The purpose of this charity is to purify those who fasted from any error or indecent act they may have commited during the holy month of Ramadan. It is also a way to help the poor and the needy spent the day of Eid El-fitr in better conditions. 

For the fourth consecutive year, Orphan Sun (SDO) is collecting Zakat El-fitr in order to help the orphans in need and, even if it is only for one day, make them forget all their worries and share with them the beauty of generosity during this holy month.
